Qualicum Beach is about a forty-minute drive to Nanaimo and about two hours to Victoria. In the opposite direction, Comox is approximately 50 minutes away by vehicle.
One of the reasons for visiting Nanaimo is to use the BC Ferries to get to the Lower Mainland. There is a small airport in Qualicum Beach that offers flights to Vancouver, which is very convenient given the smaller size of the city. By plane or boat, there are multiple travel options available.
Golfing is one of the most popular past-times in Qualicum Beach. It can’t be helped, the environment is perfect for enjoyable golfing. Mild, temperate weather with a cool ocean breeze makes it comfortable to golf year-round. The scenery can’t be ignored, either. The small, tight-knit community, ample amenities, and gorgeous beaches and walking trails compliments a work-life balance very well.
