Nanoose Bay is known for its stunning waterfront community named Fairwinds. This planned community offers resort-like living with its own marina, golf course, private wellness club, and more. Fairwinds real estate listings are the most desirable for those looking for a relaxed, luxurious lifestyle.
The forest meets the sea all over Nanoose Bay, making many opportunities to enjoy nature to the fullest. Beachcomber Regional Park and Moorecroft Regional Park are popular areas to relax and for outdoor recreational activities like hiking, sailing, swimming, kayaking, and playing in the sand. Rathrevor Beach Provincial Park in Parksville is only a short ten-minute drive away, too.
Scuba diving is one of many things to do in Nanoose Bay that has become quite popular over the years. The nearby Madrona Point is one of the most popular dive sites, as it has one of the best opportunities to view the Giant Pacific Octopus. Tyee Cove and Dolphin Beach are other preferred dive sites.
Despite its small size, Nanoose Bay has a variety of residential and commercial real estate listings. You can find property for sale ranging from mobile homes to executive-style homes. Many homes come with the added benefit of privacy and lack of noise from traffic.
