Meet Laura Solowoniuk

Hi, my name is Laura and I’m the Executive Assistant and Client Concierge for the Vancouver Island Real Estate Network. I work behind the scenes, coordinating the team, their clients, and the many moving parts involved in a real estate transaction . My love affair with real estate probably began as a child, growing up in a family of builders, immersed in the world of new construction and development. As an adult, I started my career in 2005 at a Notary Public’s Office, and it was a good fit! My curiosity about all things real estate soon led me to positions in conveyancing, legal administration, and assisting in the opening of new brokerages.

I was born and raised in Nanaimo, and spent my summers bouncing between our family’s cabin at Beachcomber and diving into the pristine waters of the Nanaimo river. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment to grow up in! At the ripe old age of 28, I fell in love with a hunk from Calgary. I moved there with him, giving him a time limit of 5 years, but we only made it 4 before we realized that it was time to head home to raise our babies surrounded by family and friends. We landed in the rural area of Nanoose, in a beautiful log home on a small acreage with loads of space to enjoy.

I am super excited to share with you that I am in the process of getting my real estate licence and will be joining the Vancouver Island Real Estate Network as a Realtor! I feel that my well rounded experience in all branches of the real estate industry will be a huge asset to my clients, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm of real estate and this wonderful community I call home.
